About The Book
Another Samantha Irby book (all because I really wanted to read Wow No Thank You but I haven’t bought it yet so I borrowed what was available from NLB. I’m sick of reading on my phone and seriously considering buying a Kobo. Should I??? But what will I do with my kindle??? Not that I’ve touched it in months) – so a collection of essays about her life, inspiring me to start the ‘rants’ section of this blog except I haven’t written anything because I am a chronic procrastinator.
My Review: Love her books
I find her hilarious and authentic, self-deprecating while being hilarious at the same time. If you prefer non-fiction with a linear story line, this collection of essays won’t be for you. It’s seemingly random and all over the place, but thoroughly entertaining.
Why You Should Read It
If you tried one of her books already or you’ve read her blog (I thought people don’t read blogs anymore and here I am starting one) then go ahead and crack this one open.
