From the award-winning Southern writer who Roxane Gay calls “a consummate storyteller” comes a cathartic novel about the life-changing weekend shared between two strangers: a therapist and the man she prevents from ending his life. – Goodreads

UHMMMMMM. I love the idea of two strangers connecting. But this was puzzling. The ending was also quizzical. I don’t really have much to say about this book. I feel like nothing happens. And I said, this guy just happened to have extra toothpaste so he gave me some, and that’s all that happened. You’d be like “What the fuck, why did you tell me this story?”

I’d give it a pass.

About The Book From the award-winning Southern writer who Roxane Gay calls “a consummate storyteller” comes a cathartic novel about the life-changing weekend shared between two strangers: a therapist and the man she prevents from ending his life. – Goodreads My Review: The Cover Is Pretty UHMMMMMM.
