My Review: A+++

Sometimes I have trouble remembering the plots of the books I read, because I read around 5-6 a month and then only post them a couple of months later because I find the upkeep of this blog really difficult, how do professional reviewers do it?!

In any case, this book really caught me by surprise – I finished it within two days. I love family novels, and this had an added element of thrilling suspense over what had actually transpired. I loved the storyline and the characters felt real. It also gave a glimpse into the world of expatriates and how their relationships with locals are built and shaped. Great, great book.
