Firefly Lane – Kristin Hannah

About The Book

Spanning more than three decades and playing out across the ever-changing face of the Pacific Northwest, Firefly Lane is the poignant, powerful story of two women and the friendship that becomes the bulkhead of their lives. – Goodreads

My Review: Not Bad At All!

I started reading this because I saw that the series was streaming on Netflix, and I tried to watch an episode of it but I just felt it was a little too slow. Man, I didn’t feel that about the book at all. I don’t think any of the characters were particularly likeable, but the insecurities, friendship and love that came out to play in the course of the novel were very relatable. The ending got me – a reminder never to let petty fights drag out before it’s too late.

Why You Should Read It

If you’ve enjoyed Kristin Hannah’s previous novels, or were intrigued by the show on Netflix but can’t stand Katherine Heigl lmao.
